Top scientists presenting their research on sustainable development!
The Stockholm Seminars cover a broad range of perspectives on sustainability issues and are focused on the dynamics and stewardship of social-ecological systems with a special emphasis on the need for a sound scientific basis for sustainable development policy.
The Stockholm Seminars are arranged by Albaeco, Stockholm Resilience Centre and the International Biosphere-Geosphere Programme IGBP to communicate scientific results on sustainable development.
Throughout the years a number of leading scientists and other experts from around the world have given talks in the Stockholm Seminars, including Nobel Peace Prize Laureates Elinor Ostrom and Wangari Maathai, and father of resilience theory C.S. Holling.
The seminars are given at the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences and are visited by a large audience, including scientists, students, media and policy makers in the public and private sector. Free entry.
